According to NHK's coverage, JR East and West Japan, JR Kyushu and Shikoku have said that they had trouble, and there were places where they could not make reservations for Shinkansen and limited express trains on the Internet.

JR system failures occurred around 4:00 am on the 10th nationwide, and credit cards could not be used at ticket vending machines and green counters at stations, and they were restored almost 9 hours before 9:00 am.

This system is handled by the "Railway Information System" of the JR series, and the causes are being investigated by JR companies.
