Connecting water area off the Senkaku Two ships of the China Coast Guard sailing at 11:00 on February 8
According to the 11th Regional Coast Guard Headquarters, two vessels from the China Coast Guard are sailing offshore of the Senkaku Islands in Okinawa Prefecture, in a connection area just outside Japan's territorial waters.
As of 9:00 am on August 8, one of the two ships was sailing about 38 km west-northwest of Kuba Island in the Senkaku Islands, and the other was sailing about 34 km north-northwest of Uotori Island. We continue to warn and watch to keep out of territorial waters.
