Early in the morning of the 8th, a car and a truck collided on the Nagasaki Expressway in Takeo City, Saga Prefecture, and two men and women who were riding in the car were killed.

Just after 5:30 am on August 8, a light passenger car and a medium-sized truck collided on the down line of Nagasaki Expressway in Tachibana-cho, Takeo.

According to police and fire departments, two men and women who appeared to be in their 70s in a light passenger car were hit by a severe blow on their entire body and transported to a hospital with cardiopulmonary arrest, but died.

A truck driver was also injured and transported to the hospital, but he was conscious.

From the footage of the site, you can see that the rear of the mini passenger car and the door of the passenger seat are severely broken, and the front part of the truck is dented.

The police will urgently confirm the identities of the two deceased and will investigate the details of the accident in the future, including hearing from truck drivers.

Due to the accident, the Nagasaki Expressway has been closed as of 9:00 am on the down line between Ureshino Interchange and Takeo North Interchange in Saga Prefecture.
