Lucy Boynton's career has just moved up a gear. After playing Freddie Mercury's girlfriend in Bohemian Rhapsody , she landed the main role of a major biopic: the one dedicated to Marianne Faithfull. It is therefore she who will be responsible for embodying the idol of the sixties on the screen, but not only.

The feature will be directed by Ian Bonhôte, praised for his biographical documentary McQueen , on the missing stylist. Julia Taylor-Stanley, Colin Vaines (who have both worked on Enemies Jury ) and Andee Ryder ( McQueen also) will produce it.
A dream
Marianne Faithfull, for her part, said she was "delighted that my story was finally made by my dream team, Lucy, Julia and Ian", in a press release relayed by Rolling Stone magazine.
