Turkish Hurriyet newspaper reported that a plane overtook the runway during landing at Sabiha Gokcen Airport in Istanbul on Wednesday, causing it to crash.

Turkish media showed footage of the plane after it crashed and some passengers were evacuated. CNN Turk quoted the Minister of Transport as saying that the accident did not result in deaths.
NTV reported that the plane had taken off from the western Izmir region.
