The seventh evening of the "Poet of the Million" program in its ninth season, the night before last, was performed at Al Raha Beach Theater, with poems loaded with poetry messages reflecting awareness of national and humanitarian issues, in addition to paintings of Yemeni heritage presented by the Hadramout Folklore Band.

Among the competitions of the seventh evening of the "Poet of the Million", organized by the Committee for the Management of Festivals and Cultural and Heritage Programs in Abu Dhabi, the poets sparkled: Barzan Al-Suhaim Al-Shammari (Iraq), Hamad Al-Muwaziri Al-Rashidi (Kuwait), Abdullah Mubarak Al-Hamoumi (Yemen) and Maitha Al-Ghafri (Sultanate of Oman) , And the singer Bin Dahim Al-Otaibi and Nabil Bin Ivan (Saudi Arabia), as they competed in submitting their poems to the jury members.
The evening included poems of tolerance recited by the six poets, as they entered the Al Raha Beach Theater before giving their poems to participate in the competition. The evening was also distinguished by the distinguished performance and folkloric singing of the artist Hisham Mahrous, accompanied by the Hadramout Folkloric Ensemble, which presented an artistic bouquet of authentic Yemeni heritage.

The second contestant, Hamad Al-Muwaziri Al-Rashidi, presented a poem describing the relationship with the sister and enumerating the characteristics of manhood, gallantry, and nobility in dealing with it. The jury members considered the poem to be coherent in its structure and sequence of ideas, and distinguished by beautiful poetry. And Dr. Ghassan Al-Hassan saw that it is a poem that he does not say and does not feel except for those who sensed the presence of the girl in the family.
The third star of the evening, Abdullah Mubarak Al-Hamoumi, who attended with a poem describing the poet’s participation in successive seasons of the “Poet of the Million” competition, was a symbol of competition for poets as if the contest was being waged by the contestant’s ethics, and the men’s determination and pride in fighting battles of honor, heroism and pride in defense of the land And display. The jury members pointed out that the poet was unsuccessful in linking his participation in the competition and his participation in the battle, with what they recorded for him by throwing fire and attending a beautiful enthusiastic theater.

As for the fourth contestant, Mutreb bin Dahim Al-Otaibi, he presented a poem that smells of the history, in dedication to the historical legacy of the Arab nation and its glories throughout 1400 years, in which the jury saw the cultured poem, through which the poet reviews the historical, geographical, time and place details with a clear poet of a professional creator, with indicating signs On specialized knowledge in grammar, language, pride, awareness and high-level thought, in a language depicting the history of the Arab nation and its civilized glory in knowledge, science and literature, in a beautiful employment far from the skin of the self, with a focus on the bright side, and addressed consciously and rare thought.
The fifth contestant, Metha Al-Ghafri, featured a poem that took a description of the mother and her position in the family as an object and idea, and portrayed the mother's status, her giving, her role in building the family, her love for her children, her husband and her sacrifices. Hamad Al-Saeed expressed his admiration for the poet’s presence, her poem, and her subject, which depicts the woman’s glow and the mother’s dedication.
As for the sixth contestant Nabil bin Ivan, he singled out his national poem and his conscious presentation of the issue of the unity of the sons of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the sons of the Islamic nation in general, and his call for reunification, which the committee considered a conscious and pioneering poem.

At the end of the evening, he announced the results of the public’s vote and the jury’s decision, as the results of the public vote were distributed: Barzan Al-Shammari 9%, Hamad Al-Rashidi 8%, Abdullah Al-Hamoumi 44%, Maitha Al-Ghaferi 29%, and the singer Al-Otaibi 8%, and Nabil Bin Ivan 3%, while The results of the jury's decision were qualified by: Barzan Al-Shammari with a score of 50/50, and Al-Otaibi singer with a score of 50/50, while the results of the rest of the poets who were subject to the public's vote, through the site and application of the "Million's Poet" for a full week, were as follows: Hamad Al-Rashidi with 46/50 results, Mitha Al Ghaferi with 46/50, Nabil Bin Ivan with 43/50, and Abdullah Al-Hamoumi with 41/50.
