"Predator birds. The Stunning Story of Harley Quinn ”(Birds of Prey: and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn)

“Birds of Prey” is the production project of actress Margot Robbie, which she dealt with from the very concept to the release of the picture for rent. Harley Quinn emancipation tape (as the English version of the name of the film says) was in development for about four years.

The main idea of Robbie implied that her heroine will have a company of friends with whom they will both hooligan and help each other. In the story, Harley Quinn and the Joker break up - Quinn is experiencing this extremely hard. It seems that a new pet (hyena) and a team of newly-made superheroine girlfriends in the person of Black Canary, Rene Montoya and the Huntress will help her to believe in herself. Together, the "Birds of Prey" will save Cassandra Kane, who crossed the road to the black mask bandit.

Despite the fact that “Birds of Prey” is a project about women made by women (director, producer, script writer - the fairer sex), the obvious “for women” seems inappropriate here. At least because Warner Bros. did not seek to work on a film with a highly raised feminist flag.

Officer and Spy (J'accuse)

The original title of the film by Roman Polanski translated from French means "I blame." Under such a heading in the newspaper L'Aurore in 1898 a letter was published by the writer Emile Zola addressed to French President Felix Forum. Zola accused the authorities of illegally imprisoning a French officer of Jewish origin, Alfred Dreyfus.

A few years before the publication of the letter in the newspaper - in 1894 - a closed hearing was held in Paris on the Dreyfus case, which was accused of espionage in favor of Germany and treason. Part of the evidence was fabricated. In 1906, with the active participation of Colonel Georges Picard Dreyfus, they were nevertheless acquitted.
