Are you conscious of worrying that even winter is too warm? Today (5th), the temperature dropped sharply. The temperature in Seoul was the lowest this year, down to minus 11 ℃. It is the lowest temperature this winter, which started in December.

The colder temperatures of Gangwon-san, which came to mind when cold, fell further. Some temperatures, such as Naesolak and Hwacheon, fell below freezing. It's a long, cold winter, and it's not a record cold but it's not cold enough.

The wind does not weaken very much, so the actual cold felt is much stronger. In the afternoon, with the freezing cold, the warmest time of day, 3:00 pm Seoul temperature was minus 5.3 ℃, and the sensation temperature was minus 10.7 ℃. It's cold enough.
It is no wonder that winter is cold. The spring season does not mean that the temperature rises so suddenly that spring is felt. Indeed, February 4-5 is the coldest year of the year. The winter season is still cold, but the nature is stronger than spring.

However, this year's spring wave delivers a different feeling from the winter air that I have felt so far. In Seoul, the lowest temperature in January was minus 6.5 degrees Celsius, which was recorded on New Year's Day.

The day when the minimum temperature was recorded, that is, it was eight days out of 31 days when I could not feel the cold below zero, so this winter is a little too warm.

That's why all the written records are all generations. In other words, it is a warm winter that rewrote the Korean Peninsula's meteorological history. In January, the national average temperature was 2.8 ℃, 3.8 ℃ higher than the average year. 4.5 ℃ was high.

It is the highest record since 1973 when we started modern observation, but even if 1 ℃ is high, it is likely to have a bad effect on the ecosystem. It should not have happened.

The warm winter weather continued in January following last December because relatively warm southwestern winds flowed into the Korean peninsula while the north cold air was not flowing properly. The Siberian cold air, which plays the biggest role in the cold of the Korean Peninsula, has never been the same as in the past year.

Arctic cold air, which had recently been pushed down in winter enough to be called the paradox of warming, was also trapped in a strong vortex this year.
In winter, there were many rainy days instead of snow, with January precipitation being 83.4mm, the second highest since 1973, while snowfall was the smallest because it recorded only 0.1cm.
As we mentioned earlier, the impact of the ecosystem on this warmth can be more than imagined, but this cold wave makes us forget about it for a while. Siberian cold air moved to the Korean peninsula, and it can be said that the winter's hair is restored.

The cold will continue until tomorrow (6th) morning. The temperature will be a little bit lower than today, and Seoul's temperature will drop to -12 ° C, Cheorwon to -17 ° C, and Daegwallyeong to -21 ° C. Of course, the haptic temperature will be lower than this.

From tomorrow afternoon, the temperature is likely to rise to video, and from Friday afternoon, the cold weather will gradually return to normal level, and this cold wave will recede. It is unlikely that such a strong cold wave will be pushed again after the cold wave is retreated.
