Narita Airport Expansion Compensation area for housing relocation established Chiba Prefectural Council February 3 19:29

In response, Chiba Prefecture deliberated on Thursday the districts subject to compensation for housing relocation along with the expansion of the airport at the “City Planning Council” consisting of experts and prefectural council members on Thursday. Proposals covering 853 hectares, such as and Narita City, were approved by the majority.
According to the prefecture, 1078 units will be newly eligible for compensation for housing relocation with this, and the council will submit a report to the prefectural governor and be notified in the future.
