In a dialogue with CNN, the Saudi Foreign Minister, Faisal Bin Farhan, confirmed today that the Israelis are not welcome in Saudi Arabia, noting that relations with Israel depend on reaching a peace agreement with the Palestinians.

"We strongly encourage a peaceful solution to this conflict," bin Farhan said in his interview. He continued, "And when a peace agreement is reached between the Palestinians and the Israelis, the issue of Israel's involvement in its regional environment will be on the table, I think."

And regarding the decision issued by the Israeli Ministry of Interior, which requires allowing its citizens to travel to Saudi Arabia to perform Hajj and Umrah rituals or to hold meetings between businessmen, the Saudi Foreign Minister affirmed that the Israelis are not welcome in the Kingdom.

Bin Farhan said about this: "Our policy is fixed, we do not have relations with the State of Israel and the holders of the Israeli passport cannot visit the Kingdom at the present time."

The Saudi foreign minister confirmed that he had not seen the US President Donald Trump's plan for peace in the Middle East, and therefore preferred not to disclose his opinion of it.

Bin Farhan said about it: "We continue to support all sincere efforts to reach a just settlement. It is very important for us that this issue be resolved, but in the context of the Palestinians obtaining their rights, and we will support all efforts that result in that."
