ELO (Electric Light Orchestra) was founded in 1970 by Roy Wood, Jeff Lynne and Bev Bevan. Since then, the group has sold more than 50 million albums worldwide and had fifteen top-20 songs on Billboard's Hot 100 list. Don't bring me down is usually mentioned as one of the band's biggest hit singles.

In 2014 Jeff Lynne revived the band on his own under the name Jeff Lynnes ELO and released last year the album From out of nowhere.

Jeff Lynne is also known as one of the co-founders and members of the American supergroup Traveling Wilburys where he played alongside other stars such as Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, George Harrison and Roy Orbison.

The last time Jeff Lynnes ELO visited Sweden was in 2018, then it was 37 years since the group last made a gig in the country.
