The selection of Zeina Aker Adra, Minister of Defense in the new Lebanese government that announced yesterday, has sparked widespread interest and turned into "Trend", especially as it is the first time that an Arab woman has held this position, which was exclusively for men.

One of the scant information circulating about the new Lebanese Minister of Defense is that she is married to Lajwad Adra, a well-known Lebanese businessman and general manager of “International Information Company”, which is one of the most prominent companies specialized in opinion polls in Lebanon.

Zeina Aker Adra is the CEO of "Information International", and she supervises the "monthly" magazine. Together with her husband, Jawad Adra, she founded the Nabo Museum. She is also active on the parent committee of the IC school. She is known for her very strong relations with the Americans, and her uncle, Gabi Aker, was a consultant at the American Embassy in Awkar until 2005.
