January 22, People's Artist of the RSFSR Valentina Talyzina marks 85 years. She moved from her native Omsk to Moscow in the 1950s, graduated from GITIS and got a job at the Mossovet Theater. Talyzina devoted more than half a century to the stage, however, she received national recognition thanks to the cinema. The actress made her film debut in 1963, starring in the movie "The Man Who Doubts." Then came the “Zigzag of Fortune”, “French Lessons”, “Afonya”, “Genius” and “After the Rain on Thursday” - in total more than 120 film and television projects. Valentina Talyzina also gained fame as a master of dubbing and voice acting - her voice is spoken by the heroines Barbara Brylsky from the film “Irony of Fate, or Enjoy Your Bath!” And Larisa Guzeeva from the film “In That Area of Heaven”, as well as characters from the cartoon “Three from Prostokvashino” and "Lisa Patrikeevna."
