The improvement in traffic on the RATP and SNCF networks will continue on Tuesday, but four Parisian metro lines out of sixteen and some TER will be further disrupted, the two groups said on Monday. The RATP forecasts "normal or almost normal traffic over its entire network" and highlights "improvements on line B of the RER and the metro network", in a press release.
Like that of the RER A, the traffic of the RER B will be "normal", for the first time since the mobilization against the pension reform began on December 5, when it was still disrupted on Monday.
Normal or almost normal traffic now for SNCF
In the metro, the vast majority of lines will operate normally. Traffic on four lines will however be reduced with four trains out of five for lines 6 and 7; two out of three trains on line 5; as well as a disrupted service (one train in two) during peak hours and very limited (one train in four) between 11:00 am and 4:00 pm on line 13. Bus traffic will be "almost normal" and that of "normal" trams, according to RATP.
SNCF has not published strike rates or national traffic forecasts since Monday, "traffic being normal or almost normal," a spokeswoman for AFP said. Some disruptions will remain Tuesday in Occitanie and Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, where it will be necessary to count on eight TER out of 10 circulations, partially provided by coaches.
