Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture) revealed the activities of the "Days of Shindagha" cultural activities in its first season, which starts tomorrow and lasts 10 days, offering cultural, artistic and heritage activities that will take visitors to a journey that revives the past with a modern interactive template, under the slogan of "reviving our culture" .

The authority organizes "Al-Shindagha Days" in the newly renovated historical Al-Shindagha neighborhood, with the aim of introducing the world to the emirate's ancient history and consolidating authentic Emirati values.

Among the activities included in the events program is the Gallery of Al-Shindagha Gallery, which receives visitors at the main entrance to the festival, celebrating the traditional doors that decorate the façade of the old traditional buildings in Al-Shindagha, which were revived by restoration specialists who restored the beauty and luster they had seen in ancient times. As it passes through the doors, the visitor stops at four stations, each showcasing the creative work of four Emirati plastic artists, who were inspired by the stories of those doors, a number of distinctive artworks.

Visitors will also be able to learn about the art of making Emirati ships, which the people of the region have mastered to strengthen their bond with the sea, by watching a five-meter boat displayed at the place. While the Saroq Al-Hadid Museum will tell the story of one of the most important archaeological sites discovered in the Emirates. The museum uses the latest technical methods to explore the site of the Saruq al-Hadid or "Metal Trail", which is one of the archaeological desert sites that were the center of the mineral industries for nearly 3000 years.

As for the perfume house, it takes its visitors on a fragrant perfume tour, to get acquainted with the ancient traditions of the perfume world, and to discover unique ingredients and scents that are used as the basics for making Emirati perfumes. In addition to the information that visitors will gain about Dubai culture and history, the "Emirati Experience" station will provide them through its council an opportunity to interact with a group of Emirati youth who list the interesting "sideburns" in an atmosphere filled with the scent of Arabic coffee.
