Images of a woman saving a koala from the flames have been around the world. Since September, koalas have been among the victims of the gigantic fires that ravage eastern Australia. This statement is incomplete. According to the Australian Minister for the Environment, 30% of the koalas in a region in the east of the country could have disappeared because of the fires. Find our explanations on video.
