A former American footballer overthrew all brotherhood considerations, and committed the most heinous crime against his sister, and her unborn child, who has yet to see the light of day.

According to details reported by the local newspaper "The Statesman" in Texas, on Sunday, Michael Iguagu, 25, stabbed his sister, who is five years older, to death in their Austin home.

Iguagu was a well-known player on the University of Texas football team, American Football, between 2013-2016.

The killing was a shock to the two neighbors, who were described as "good people."

The accused stabbed his sister several times until she was killed instantly, without revealing the reason behind the heinous act.

American police arrested the killer at the scene, and witnesses said that the blood was covering the young man's hands and feet.

A spokeswoman for the city's police chief stated that the woman was pregnant, while the judicial authorities charged her brother with murder.
