Every year in Misato-cho, Tsu, a town revitalization group creates a jumbo elephant next year in hopes of family harmony and plenty of five grains, and dedicates it to the local Tatsumizu Shrine.

On July 29, a group member, Jumbo Eto, made a mouse made of styrofoam etc. over a month.

It is about 3 meters tall and holds a torch of torch on the left to commemorate the Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics to be held next year.

In addition, the whole is painted in gold in hope of Japanese player getting gold medal.

The group members and local children joined together to pull the jumbo um from a nearby warehouse and arrived at the shrine, secured at the entrance and ready for the New Year.

"I hope that next year the Olympics will make Japan even more exciting and a good year," said group president Kimio Masui.

This "Jumbo Eto" will be displayed until the end of February next year.
