With the singing stars and the largest fireworks displays, the capital Abu Dhabi is preparing to welcome the year 2020, through a series of events and celebrations that bring together elite artists and suit different tastes.
Here are a bunch of the most prominent celebrations for the New Year, and the destinations that can be visited in the capital during this occasion:
Bruno March concert
The artist Bruno Mars, who won 11 Grammy Awards, will celebrate the New Year's party next Tuesday in Du Square, Yas Island, as part of the two-day "Resolution Music" festival, which includes various entertainment activities and activities to suit all family members. Ticket prices range between 350 - 1350 dirhams.
Tamer Hosni and Nancy Ajram
Al Maryah Island in Abu Dhabi is preparing to receive 2020 with the largest concert of its kind in Abu Dhabi, on the island's waterfront promenade. The ceremony will be performed by Tamer Hosni and Nancy Ajram. The ceremony will be followed by a fireworks display scheduled to take 10 minutes and immediately precedes the countdown moments, marking the start of the new year. The audience reception starts from five o'clock in the evening, and the party will start from seven in the evening and extend until one in the morning on the first day of the new year. And for the time, tickets are allocated to attend the ceremony to reduce the crowding, after it was free in previous years, and the ticket price is 300 dirhams.
Aida Al-Menhali and the largest show
The Sheikh Zayed Festival in Al Wathba welcomes the new year’s celebrations for this year's largest New Year, as the celebrations include a celebration by Emirati artist Aida Al Menhali.
The festival 2020 also receives the largest and longest fireworks show, with a duration of 30 minutes.
Fireworks from Corniche to Al Wathba
Fireworks shows organized by Abu Dhabi to receive the New Year attract a wide audience, and the capital is therefore keen to distribute these offers in several locations, the most important of which are: Abu Dhabi Corniche, Emirates Palace, Yas Island, as well as Al Maryah Island interface and Sheikh Zayed Festival in Al Wathba.
