The All-Russian Center for the Study of Public Opinion (VTsIOM) has published the results of a traditional survey of people and events that are most remembered by Russian citizens in the past year.

Philip Kirkorov managed to keep the title of chief Russian musician of the year - although his result deteriorated exactly twice, from 10% to 5% of the vote. 2019 really turned out to be less fruitful for the artist than 2018. However, in 2019, Kirkorov became one of the authors of the song and Sergey Lazarev's Eurovision number.

The media regularly fueled interest in the children of Kirkorov. So, in the spring, journalists wrote that the artist’s son, Martin, was planning to study at the Academy of the prestigious Spanish football club Barcelona, and in the fall that the boy went to the Academy of Moscow CSKA. In the fall, both the son and daughter of the artist were enrolled in a comprehensive school.

In December, Philip Kirkorov appeared in a commercial with Nikolai Baskov (by the way, Baskov also retained his place in the top five performers of the year).

Denis Matsuev and Alla Pugacheva were included in the rating with a slight lag behind the leader. In addition, the Russians noted the performance of Sergei Lazarev at Eurovision, which provided the singer with 3% of the vote.

Polina Gagarina and Sergey Shnurov each got 2% of mentors from the show “Voice”. The latter, probably, was in the spotlight due to the dissolution of the Leningrad group, poetic battles, political activity (Shnurov is a member of the Public Council under the State Duma Committee on Culture) and participation in the Voice show as a mentor.

The vocal project "Voice", meanwhile, is located on the 11th line of the rating of the best television programs. The program “Sunday evening with Vladimir Solovyov” topped the list, and respondents singled out the Comedy Club and the Blue Bird All-Russian Competition for Young Talents from cultural and entertainment shows.

The ranking of the most popular actors since last year has undergone major changes. Sergey Bezrukov went down from the top of the rating to the fifth line, losing first place to the young but very prolific artist Alexander Petrov.

In 2019, four full-length films with Petrov’s participation appeared on the screens: the T-34 blockbuster Alexei Sidorov, Anna Luc Besson, Hero Karen Oganesyan (where he played with Vladimir Mashkov and Svetlana Khodchenkova) and Klim Shipenko’s Text . In addition, the STS channel showed the series Belovodye, which was shot back in 2014. The mystery of a lost country ”, in which Petrov got the main role.

At the beginning of 2020, a number of other high-profile releases with the participation of the actor are planned. Already on January 1, you can see the “Invasion” in cinemas (there Petrov played the ex-boyfriend of the heroine Irina Starshenbaum - his former lover in real life). In April, the biopic of Ilya Uchitel (the son of director Alexei Uchitel) “Sagittarius” about the football player Eduard Streltsov is released. It is noteworthy that during the filming of this picture, Petrov (of course, who played Streltsov) met the current passion - actress Stasia Miloslavskaya. In February, the premiere of the tape Zhora Kryzhovnikova's "Ice 2", where Petrov, again, got the main role.

The second place in the ranking of actors is occupied by Konstantin Khabensky - despite the fact that in 2019 there was only one short film with his participation. On the third line is Alice Freindlich, who last appeared on the big screen in 2017, in the film “Frozen Frost”.

Also on the list are Vladimir Mashkov, Evgeny Mironov and Sergey Burunov.

The best movie of 2019, the majority of Russians surveyed consider the T-34, which was released on January 1 (again, with Alexander Petrov in the title role). Igor Kopylov's “Rzhev” was in second place in the ranking, and Upward Movement (by the way, not released this year) was in third place. Also on the list was the "Joker" of Todd Phillips.

The list of the best television series in the opinion of Russian citizens was headed by the criminal television project "Dog", the fourth season of which will go on NTV from December 9 to December 31. The “Dog” is followed by the detective series “Secrets of the investigation” (Russia-1) and “Trace” (Channel Five). Also, Russians actively voted for the projects “Pregnancy Test”, “Policeman from Ruble”, “Matchmakers”, “Catherine” and “Kitchen”.

The situation with the writers has not changed: 2% of Russians called the classic writer Alexander Sergeyevich Pushkin the main writer of the year. About 1% was gained by Daria Dontsova and Zakhar Prilepin, Viktor Pelevin also joined them, who released a new book this year (and an adaptation of his novel Empire V is expected in 2020).
