His Excellency Mattar Al Tayer, Director General and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Roads and Transport Authority, honored long service employees who spent long years in the service of the Dubai government, in appreciation of their efforts and giving them to serve the country throughout the past years.

The ceremony, which was held in Al Wasl hall in the authority, was attended by a number of executives, directors of departments and employees in the authority.

The honors included five employees who spent more than 40 years in service, namely Abdul-Razzaq Abdullah Al-Nubi, Muhammad Zayed Bakhit, Ali Muhammad Al-Shammar, Ridha Abdul Rahim Abu Al-Hassan and Abdul Salam Amir Bakhsh. The honoring also included 10 employees who spent more than 30 years in service, and 10 Employees spent more than 20 years in service, and 12 employees spent in service ranging from 10 to 15 years.

His Excellency Mattar Al Tayer praised the great services provided by the old employees during their period in the Dubai government, where they experienced the early stages of the comprehensive development witnessed by the emirate, and presented distinguished works and their efforts played a major role in achieving many of the achievements.

He said: The Roads and Transport Authority is keen to honor and preserve these experiences because they are effective and irreplaceable energies in pushing our development path forward, stressing that the authority places the development and qualification of its employees at the top of its priorities, and motivates them to exert more effort and excellence in work, to continue to develop The construction process, which led to a qualitative shift in the infrastructure of the road network and transportation in the emirate to keep pace with comprehensive development, and contribute to achieving the vision of our rational government.
