"Kimokawa" 100 stuffed giant salamanders on the tree December 24 14:37

Before Christmas, a unique tree made up of 100 plush toys of giant salamanders living in Kamogawa, a special natural monument of the country, is on display at Kyoto's aquarium.

The Giant Salamander Tree is on display at the Kyoto Aquarium in Shimogyo-ku, Kyoto, in order to feel closer to the giant salamanders that inhabit the Kamo River flowing through Kyoto City.

The tree is 2 meters and 60 centimeters tall and is made up of 100 plush salamanders.

The surface of the stuffed animal has a special coating, which means that the skin of the giant salamander is slimy and shiny.

The tree is decorated with rocks and moss in the image of the scenery of the clear stream, and has been talked about on the Internet as "bad but cute".

A female high school student in Kyoto said, "I was surprised at the giant salamander when I wondered what it looked like. It was too real and uncomfortable."

A male college student said, "I'm pretty shiny."

The giant salamander tree is on display until the 25th.
