The opera is about Mathilde Wesendonck and Richard Wagner, and the addition of Wagner's well-known opera "Tristan and Isolde".
Composer Staffan Storm stands for the music and Ebba Witt-Brattström's libretto is partly based on documentary material in the form of Richard Wagner's letter to Mathilde Wesendonck.
Witt-Brattström has previously collaborated with Vattnäs concert charts in the set of "The War of Love", an opera version of her acclaimed novel "The War of the Century".
"Im treibhaus" premieres on July 17. Other performances will take place on July 19, 21 and 24.
