“Ethnic Symbiotic Symbolic Space” = Nickname Upopoi is a national facility that transmits Ainu culture, and the government has spent over 20 billion yen. It will open in Shiraoi on April 24 next year.

Among them, the first National Museum in Northern Japan “Ainu Folk Museum” is 3 stories above ground and has a total floor area of ​​8600 square meters.

Exhibits will be brought into the future, but in the “Basic Exhibition Room”, the history, life, and work of Ainu people are divided into six themes to convey the Ainu culture.

The “Experience Exchange Hall” is designed to eliminate the level difference between the stage and the spectator seats, so that visitors can participate.
