“During the audit, it was found that marine mammals - walruses - were transferred to a legal entity under a sales contract, sent by air to another region. There were no violations in the issuance of veterinary accompanying documents by the Rosselkhoznadzor department in the Primorsky Territory and Sakhalin Region, ”a representative of the environmental prosecutor’s office said.
Currently, walrus owners are waiting for permission to export animals from Russia to China.
