Seven minutes later, tremors of magnitude 4.9 at a depth of 34 km were recorded in the same area.
It is specified that residents of nearby settlements did not feel seismic activity, there is no threat of a tsunami.
Earlier it became known that an earthquake of magnitude 4.4 occurred in 179 km from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky off the coast of Kamchatka.
