A young girl at the age of 23 died after she became a "hated" character throughout Australia after attacking an elderly woman.

The British newspaper "Daily Mail" said that the story of Cory Glenkross began when her video clip spread on social media, last April, and she was beating and hitting an elderly woman outside a shopping center in Geelong, Victoria state.

Glencross insisted at the time that she was suffering from a "seizure attack" and was not controlling her body when she began berating the 75-year-old woman.

Her mother revealed, a few days ago, that her daughter died late last month, after trying to "correct the error" before she died.

"She was trying to improve the situation and change her life ... but she was unfortunately suffering from epilepsy, which often caused her in 15 shifts a day," said Casey Donald.

Shortly before her death, doctors diagnosed Glencross and said she had a "mental disability". The cause of Cory Glenkross's death has not been revealed.

Donald stated that she was still receiving "obscene messages" because of her daughter's video, which had spread widely on social media, and behind a tidal wave.

And she continued, "Some people's messages reach the point of saying: - I hope that you will rot in Hell - ... this is horrible and terrible."
