American technology company Google has launched a smartphone version of the artificial intelligence-based interpretation tool, which will allow two people who speak different languages to have a phone conversation between them.

The new tool bears the name "translation mode" and it works through the application of PDA for smart phones "Google Assistant", which competes with the Alexa application from Amazon or Siri from Apple.

The website "CNet.com" specializing in technology issues pointed out that Google had unveiled the new tool earlier this year during the Las Vegas International Exhibition for electronic devices.

This tool was available at the time to work with smart screens.

Google made the new tool available for Android smartphones and iPhone smartphones.

And the tool is activated by activating the Google Assistant application and then informing him with a type of "Be translated into Thai" or "Help me speak the Italian language, in this case the user speaks in his native language and then the new tool translates into the language of the second user."

You can also write responses in the conversation using the phone's keyboard to be translated by the other user.

The opposite also occurs where the phone receives the words of the other user in his language to translate it into the language of the receiving user.

The new tool works with 44 languages including Greek, Turkish, Chinese and Arabic.

This feature will be very useful for travelers who go to countries that do not speak their language as they can communicate through the feature with other people who do not speak their language.

And Google is trying recently to develop its digital services that target travelers such as translation service or Google Maps digital maps in order to help people visiting foreign countries.
