Nominees for the 162nd Yodogawa Prize and Naoki Prize were announced. Five works each were selected, of which three were selected for the first time in the Sasakawa Award and four for the Naoki Award.

Winners of the Sasagawa Award were chosen as “The Little Child's Holy War” by Yusuke Kimura, “Let's listen to the sound” by Nagayo Takao, “Deadline” by Masaya Chiba, Yusuke Ryosuke The 5 missions are "Mission" and Masato Furukawa's "Tall Awatsuki Tsubasa".

Mr. Takao was the third candidate, Mr. Furukawa was the fourth candidate following the previous session, and Mr. Kimura, Mr. Chiba and Mr. Noriyo were selected for the first time this time.

On the other hand, the Naoki Prize candidate works include Tetsu Ogawa's “Lies and Masanori”, Soichi Kawagoe's “Heat Source”, Katsuhiro Kure's “Swan”, Tetsuya Honda's “War of the Back”, Kanae Tsuji's “ Five works of “Sunset” were selected.

Tsuji is a popular mystery writer who has won numerous awards for his debut “Confession” and this is the fourth candidate.

The other four were candidates for the first time.

The selection of the Sasakawa Prize and Naoki Prize will be held on the 15th of next month.
