Setagaya family murder case How to wrap the knife is a special method in the Philippines or December 13 at 12:47

Soon 19 years have passed since the death of four family members in Setagaya-ku, Tokyo. The Metropolitan Police Department is investigating that the criminal used the knife in a handkerchief, but found that the special way of wrapping resembles that often found in the northern part of the Philippines. The Metropolitan Police Department considers dispatching investigators to the site as one of the powerful information.

Omisoka in 2000, Mikio Miyazawa (at that time 44), his wife Yasuko (at the time 41), a house worker in Setagaya-ku, Tokyo, Nina-chan (then 8), the eldest daughter and the eldest son Rei-kun (at that time 6) was found to have been killed by 4 family members, and the case remains unresolved for 19 years at the end of this month.

According to previous investigations by the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department, the criminal had worn Korean sneakers, was wearing French perfume, and was supposed to have used a knife wrapped in a handkerchief.

Specifically, it seems that the knife handle was put into a hand cut in the center of the handkerchief and wrapped in a bag shape, but later investigations showed that knives were used in ceremonies and hunts in the Ilocos region in the Philippines and Isabela. I found out that it is similar to the method used when using a knife or when a soldier uses a knife.

The Metropolitan Police Department sees it as one of the powerful information, and is collecting information through the ICPO = International Criminal Police Organization and is also considering dispatching investigators to the site.

Koji Watanabe, Director of the Metropolitan Police Department's Investigation Division 1, says "Please contact me with any trivial information."
