Pieces made by experts from Chanel, Bvlgari, Cartier or Van Cleef & Arpels and of ethical origin hang from its leaves. Hence the most luxurious Christmas tree in the world is valued at 11.9 million euros. Missing data: is in Spain. And specifically at the Kempinski Hotel Bahía, a five-star hotel overlooking the Mediterranean located in the Malaga town of Estepona, two steps from Marbella. It is also the only resort in Spain of Kempinski, the oldest luxury hotel group in Europe, founded in 1897.

In its recently renovated lobby, they have installed this tree worthy of the Guinness Book of Records of three and a half meters high, the work of British designer Debbie Wingham, specialized in fashion and accessories and known above all for working on productions for celebrities such as Katy Perry, Justin Bieber or Drake . Not only that, but it also makes personalized items for the most vip characters in the world. As an example, he has come to design a cake for a wedding valued at 50 million euros. He has also designed the most expensive dress in the world (17 million euros), and in which he embedded hundreds of diamonds and precious stones.

This time, Wingham has been in charge of decorating the Christmas tree of the Kempinski Hotel Bahia, for which he has been inspired by the green feathers of a peacock and art deco. It highlights pieces of the aforementioned luxury brands, as well as figures made from pink , red, white and black sapphires and diamonds , perfume bottles, exclusive Martini glasses, 3D printed chocolate peacocks and edible treats. There is no lack of traditional elements of these dates such as snowflakes, fairies and ornaments treated with a mixture of materials, from diamond dust and 24 karat gold, to emu eggs and ostrich. .

Wingham has not missed the official presentation of the tree at the hotel, where its CEO, Axel Bethke , advanced the special program for these dates. Among its activities, highlights the Night of Diamonds and Champagne on December 28. This is an event where attendees can take home a diamond valued at 2,500 euros. During the dinner, prepared by the hotel's executive chef , David Fernández, with the presence of Perrier Jouet, a box with several keys will be presented. Only one will manage to open it and whoever has it will keep the coveted diamond.

Santa Claus is not missing in the decoration of the hotel.

Before, a Flemish night will be held on December 27 . And by the 30th, the Kempinski has organized a seafood dinner with live performances. On New Year's Eve, The Greatest Showman and Circus Circus will be the central themes of the gala night, which will feature live music in the lobby.

Guests of the hotel, with 128 rooms and 17 suites, can also enjoy the resort's tropical gardens, surrounded by pools and bars where you can have a snack or have lunch in the sun on the beachfront . Or even bathe in the sea in the case of the most daring, since the Mediterranean climate of the area can calmly exceed 25 degrees during these dates.
