The hour-long documentary Love Me For Who I Am is about artist Josefin Nilsson's life and career. It aired in SVT in March earlier this year.

The film depicts a destructive relationship that Josefin Nilsson had with a Swedish actor during the 90's. It is this actor, who was not named in the documentary, who in June reported SVT to the Review Board.

“As a public service company, SVT has a great deal of publicist responsibility. In their broadcasting state it is stated that they must be impartial and factual. SVT never contacted me before the documentary was sent. I was never given the opportunity to respond to what is said in the documentary, ”the actor wrote in a debate article in Aftonbladet then.

In September, the man also reported the documentary to the Justice Chancellor, JK, for slander. But JK closed the case because there is no basis for initiating a preliminary investigation.

The cultural news is seeking the documentary's producer, as well as the responsible publisher, for a comment.
