All absurdity, humor and loss, the series "Platane", and with Eric Judor, returns to Canal + Monday night. A third season, broadcast nearly seven years after the second, which will convince fans of the staggered valves specific to the encrypted channel.

Almost seven years of reflection. This is the time it was necessary to wait before watching the adventures of Eric Judor in the series he created himself, Platane. After a first season aired in 2011 on Canal +, then a second two years later that had not been able to find its audience, the production of half of the duet Eric and Ramzy makes a big comeback Monday night on the encrypted channel.

Glory to the absurd

The story is always the same. After a car accident in the plane tree of the title, Eric Judor fell into a coma for a year. When he woke up, he could only see that Ramzy had (well) managed without him and that he would have to continue his artistic journey alone. He was then trying to make a film and then return to comedy. In this season 3, he is employed at Havas, where he plays the role of the worst publicist on the planet with vulgar and racist spots. Soon fired, he decided to go live a shamanic experience in South America, before returning transformed and determined to shoot a series.

If this pitch has already lost you, this is normal: the story has in Platane only limited importance, not to say not important at all. The double fiction of Eric Judor, always as loser and amateur of jokes scatophiles, is especially there to chain the most absurd situations. Some are frighteningly seen, others lose some of the viewer, but Eric Judor must be recognized as a foolproof singularity.

Crossover with The Bureau of Legends

The comedian also relies on a casting stamped Canal + as his jokes. The stars parade, from Jamel Debbouze to Florence Foresti, from Gilles Lellouche to Roland Magdane, with a special mention for Jacques Séguéla, funny without having anything to do in the first three episodes. One of the great finds of Platane is also this ambitious crossover with another creation of the encrypted channel, The Bureau of Legends. All this leads to a lunar dialogue between Mathieu Kassovitz, who takes over his role as Malotru, and Eric Judor as spy apprentice of the DGSE.

Fans of this offbeat humor, based on hilarious but not flabby impulses, will love it.
