To "retain the public of tomorrow", France Télévisions launches Okoo, a platform of 100 fun and educational programs. Director of young audiences and animation at France Television, Tiphaine de Raguenel, presents the project at the microphone of Philippe Vandel.

France Télévisions revisits its youth programs. The group is launching Monday a new platform, Okoo, with more than 100 programs of cartoons, reports, and educational programs. It is accessible on the channels of the group, France 4, France 3 and France 5, in linear schedules when children are available in the morning or after school, and on demand the rest of the time. This offer must adapt to new uses shared by children: an Okoo application will also be available on mobiles and tablets.

"Talk to the youth"

Delphine Ernotte, the president of France Télévisions, had been very clear: "Our children are the audiences of tomorrow, and talking to youth is at the heart of France TV broadcasts." Tiphaine de Raguenel, director of young audiences and animation at France Television, agrees: "If children are not used to watching the channels of France Televisions, it will be difficult then to retain them," says t she's at the microphone of Philippe Vandel.

His ambition is clear. "We want to create a strong link with the young public, from 3 to 12 years, by offering them a public service offer, which stands out because it is edutainment and 100% French," she says. Okoo is accessible for free, does not broadcast any advertising and does not ask for subscription ... All arguments that should appeal to parents.
