Spotify has revealed the ranking of the most listened to artists of the decade on its streaming platform, worldwide. No French enters the rankings, but two rappers are placed in the top 5.

Who says end of year, necessarily says ranking! And as 2019 marks the end of a decade, Spotify reveals the most watched streaming artists in the last ten years. Worldwide, all songs combined. The bronze medal goes to rapper Post Malone. A feat, because his first album was released in 2016 only.

Just in front of him is Ed Sheeran. The British singer barely misses first place, but he consoles himself with the title of the most listened song of the decade, thanks to his tube "Shape of you".

Drake, winner

The first of the rankings is a Canadian rapper: Drake. The artist has posted an impressive 28 billion plays on the counter since 2010.

In fourth place, we find Ariana Grande and to close the top 5, another rapper: Eminem. Unsurprisingly, no French artist appears in the ranking.
