NHK year-end, overseas cooperation begins from 1st December 1st 15:40 nationwide

Acceptance of “NHK Year-end Help / Overseas Help” began nationwide from the first day.

Also, calligrapher Nakatsuka Naka, who was in charge of the title of the Taiga drama “Tsubakiga Kuru” next year, improvised art with the theme of “Takei Ai” and invited people to raise money. People who visited the venue were throwing donations into the box.

A 10-year-old girl who visited with her mother from Setagaya Ward, Tokyo, said, "I want you to use a donation for people who are really in trouble."

“Year-end assistance” is used for people with disabilities and elderly people who need nursing care throughout the country, and for disaster recovery support. On the other hand, “Overseas Cooperation” is to be used by people who suffer from conflicts and disasters around the world through the Japanese Red Cross Society.

NHK year-end cooperation and overseas cooperation are accepted until 25th of this month at NHK broadcasting stations nationwide, community chests, the Japanese Red Cross Society, post offices, and financial institutions with indications.
