December 1 would mark the 50th anniversary of the Russian theater and film actor Dmitry Maryanov. He became famous in his youth thanks to the main role in the film by George Yungvald-Khilkevich "Above the Rainbow". However, unlike many teenage actors, Maryanov later played dozens of movie roles after completing army service and graduating from the Shchukin school. He also worked in the theater - he performed on the stage of Lenkom for many years, then collaborated with Quartet I, was involved in the performances of Election Day and Radio Day. Maryanov suddenly died on October 15, 2017 at the age of 47 years.
