The Tokyo Metropolitan Government has renovated the "Children's Castle" in Shibuya-ku, closed four years ago, and is planning to open a new facility for learning and learning "Toshimin no Castle" in 2023. Will be recruited from Tokyo residents.

According to the plan announced by the Metropolitan Government, the inside of the building will not be changed and the interior will be renovated, aiming to open in 2023, four years later.

Specifically, we will create an environment where sports and lifelong learning can be done to provide a place for citizens to interact and to provide facilities to support entrepreneurs.

In addition, the former Aoyama Theater and the former Aoyama Amphitheater in the building will be renovated as a “multipurpose hall” and some facilities such as movable floors will be considered to be eliminated to reduce costs.

The Metropolitan Government will solicit opinions from the citizens of these renovation plans until the 21st of next month, then formulate a basic plan during the current fiscal year and begin construction.
