As indicated in the survey, more than half of all respondents (58%) admitted that they are users of video hosting.

“The Russians, first of all, come to YouTube for video (53%). It is also popular among our fellow citizens to like (13%), subscribe to authors' channels (12%), share videos with other users (7%), leave comments on the watched video (6%). Only 2% of respondents upload their videos to the service, ”VTsIOM points out.

It is noted that the most popular site among Russians is music videos, films, videos related to culture and art (30%), as well as humorous content (23%).

At the same time, videos are popular among Russian users related to family, home and parenting (16%), sports or fitness (14%), social and political life (14%), technology and technology (13%), travel ( 13%), education (12%), as well as beauty and health (10%).

All-Russian survey was conducted on October 30. It was attended by 1600 respondents over the age of 18 years. The survey method is a telephone interview.
