She added that the UAE has proved its efficiency and responsibility in various sectors and jobs, and reached the highest positions with the support and encouragement of our leadership, so that the UAE experience in supporting women has become a model to be followed globally, pointing out that this support goes beyond local affairs, but goes beyond to lead and support global efforts to empower women, Including the adoption and support of the State to achieve the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals, of which women are an important focus. Her Highness praised the continuous support provided by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to the UAE, and his keenness to increase its participation in the economic, social and scientific life, and support its excellence globally, which clearly reflects the priority of women in the vision and approach of our leadership and strategic plans of the state.

Her Highness Sheikha Manal bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum pointed out that hosting and organizing the Dubai Women's Forum for the 2020 edition of the Forum comes in light of the success achieved by the 2016 session, which was organized for the first time in the Middle East and North Africa, with the participation of 3000 government officials and leaders of institutions. Experts, academics, intellectuals and representatives of international organizations, reflect the trust and appreciation of the international community for the UAE to host and succeed major global events.

Her Highness added that the organization of the 2020 session of this important event on women's affairs at the global level to Dubai Women's Establishment coincides with the historic shift witnessed in the march of supporting women in the UAE, raising the proportion of representation in the Federal National Council to 50% of the total number of members. To become the UAE with this step among the countries of the world, in terms of the proportion of female representation in parliament, to complement this political role of women with their successful role at the economic and social levels and reached the advanced educational levels at the global level, where women constitute about 70% of university graduates In the state, and About 56% of the graduates in the fields of information technology, engineering, mathematics and innovation in public universities, in addition to the literacy rate among females in the country is one of the highest global rates, reaching about 95.8%. Her Highness considered that the forum is an opportunity to highlight the successes of the UAE, in addition to its importance in reviewing the successful international experiences in supporting women and exchanging views on the best ways to overcome the challenges faced by women, health, education and social, in many regions of the world, and benefit Development efforts and plans, which require more concerted efforts and cooperation at the global level and the recognition of the positive impact of the role of women. She noted that there is cooperation and partnership between the Dubai Women's Foundation and many international bodies and organizations to activate this role, one of which is the organization of the International Women's Forum 2020.

For her part, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dubai Women Foundation Managing Director, Mona Ghanem Al Marri, the Foundation's keenness to organize programs and events that will translate the vision of the wise leadership, to enhance the role of women in the development process, and to cross the country to a new phase of work and achievements in various fields.
