Sting's tour will return to Europe in the summer of 2020 for a series of concerts, including one at Chambord Castle on July 1st. The British singer will be the first rock artist to perform in this castle of the Loire.

The British singer Sting, 68, will perform at Chambord castle (Loir-et-Cher) on July 1, announced Friday the production company AZ Prod. "We want to combine an exceptional and internationally renowned site with an outstanding humanist and internationally renowned artist, Sting will become the first rock artist to perform, and we expect tremendous economic spinoffs from this concert," he said. A gauge of 20,000 people

The concert will take place outside, garden side, which will accommodate about 20,000 spectators. In a statement, Live Nation and Cherrytree Management confirmed that the "Sting: My Songs" tour will be back in Europe this summer for a series of theatrical and festival concerts including a concert at Chambord Castle on Wednesday, July 1st.
