His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan thanked President Abdel Fattah El Sisi for his keenness and interest in enhancing UAE-Egyptian relations and pushing them forward, stressing that the UAE has a strategic direction to find the best relations with Egypt in all fields.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan pointed out that the UAE and Egypt are partners in supporting peace and stability in the Arab region and working for the interests of their people, and to preserve the national state entity in the face of threats to it, as they are in one front against extremism and terrorism and attempts to threaten security And the peace of the societies of the region by extremist forces serving suspicious agendas of parties that do not want the good of our country and peoples.

He added: "The magnitude of the challenges and dangers that surround the Arab region calls for enhancing continuous consultation between our two countries and supporting the pillars of joint Arab action, so as to preserve the higher Arab interests at a crucial stage in the history of the region."
