For several decades, fierce fighting continued between the author Sven Stolpe and Dagens Nyheter's editor-in-chief Olof Lagercrantz on Swedish cultural sites. The conflict is about Alex Schulman's grandmother Karin Stolpe, Sven Stolpe's wife, who had a brief love affair with Olof Lagercrantz.
The cultural news has already previously stated that the novel should be filmed. But now it is clear that Björn Runge will be in charge. He was most recently up to date with the acclaimed movie The Wife, which honored actor Glenn Close with an Academy Award nomination for best female lead.
