According to Dylan Farrow, Woody Allen took her to a loft where he subjected her to abuse.

The charges have been known for 25 years, but have gained new fuel as a result of the metoo movement and actors have increasingly withdrawn to be associated with the now 82-year-old Allen.

- I am credible and I tell the truth, and I think it is important for people to understand that a victim, a person who accuses, is important. And that it is enough to change things, says Dylan Farrow in that part of the interview in CBS morning TV program This Morning! which was already released on Wednesday.

When the host Gayle King describes that she heard statements that Farrow is just looking to lower Woody Allen, she rhetorically responds: "why wouldn't I?"

- Why wouldn't I want to lower him, why wouldn't I be angry? Why shouldn't I be hurt? Why would I not feel any kind of anger after being distrusted and neglected all these years ?, says Dylan Farrow in the interview.

Dismantling separation

Actor Mia Farrow and director Woody Allen were a couple from the late 70s to 1992. Mia Farrow played in 13 of the 14 films Woody Allen made during the time period and the couple had three children together; two adopted and one biological.

In 1992, it emerged that Woody Allen had begun a relationship with Soon-Yi Previn, which Mia Farrow adopted with her former husband, André Previn. Soon-Yi Previn and Allen are married today. In August 1992, Mia Farrow accused Woody Allen of mistreating Dylan. Allen says that Mia Farrow tricked Dylan into being abused and applied for solitary custody of the couple's three children and went public with her relationship with Soon-Yi.

No trial

An investigation was initiated, but there was never any trial and social services in New York that investigated the case after 14 months of investigation found that the charges were unfounded.

However, the prosecutor in the case considered himself to have good grounds to prosecute Allen, but wanted to save Dylan, then eight years old, on a lengthy trial. Mia Farrow also received custody of the children Dylan, Moses and Satchel (now Ronan).
