The scholarship is awarded each year by the music publisher's industry organization to "pay attention to a young songwriting talent at the beginning of the career".
Imenella receives the scholarship of SEK 25,000 for being "a brilliant model and a person who sucks perfect beats and delivers perfectly timed lyrics," the jury writes in its justification.
In previous years, Nonnie Bao, Panda Da Panda, Beatrice Eli and Leslie Tay received the scholarship, which has been awarded since 2012.
The prize is presented at the gala for the Music Publishers' Prize at Berns in Stockholm on November 8.
