Radio France International has created a new literary prize. In partnership with Jean-Claude Lattès, RFI launches the "Voix d'Afriques" writing contest. It is addressed to all the young authors and others of the continent.

It is a literature prize in French language whose objective is the discovery of new feathers throughout the African continent. You are under 30, you are of age, you have not published yet, but you dream of writing a novel? So you can try your luck and participate in this writing contest until January 15, 2020.

For this, simply register on the Internet, at price-rfi.editions-jclattes.fr , and send your text up to 250,000 characters. A professional jury, sponsored this year by Djiboutian writer Abdourahman Waberi , will make a selection. The rewarded book will then be published by Jean-Claude Lattès, with a co-edition in the native country of the laureate or laureate. The laureate will also benefit from a residency at the Cité internationale des arts in Paris, partner of the prize.

Finally, you will be invited on our antenna to talk about this first novel. The prize will be awarded in June in Paris for the Africa 2020 season . All this information is to be found on the site rfi.fr, and do not hesitate, it is perhaps you the new Voice of Africa!
