A surprising official decision to cancel the celebration of a famous Korean band shortly before the stage began, sparked controversy among activists.

The members of the Korean band, D-Crunch, which was invited by Kuwait, appeared on the stage where the paragraphs were supposed to perform, and its members apologized to the public, announcing that the ceremony was canceled, without explaining the reason, amid boos from the audience.

The band members apparently emerged from a back door after the cancellation, amid the shouts of the crowd who had attended the ceremony. A number of members of the group were affected by the decision, where they appeared in circulating pictures and signs of sadness, while others cried.

A video clip showed the departure of the Korean band to Kuwait airport, after being banned, while the account "local" Council in Kuwait, that the ban came after the violation of members of the band morals in Kuwait.

But a statement issued by the Korean embassy in Kuwait confirmed that they respect the decision of the Kuwaiti Information Ministry and respect the customs and traditions of Kuwait and its people.
