The Ukrainian party “Freedom”, which for some time fell out of the media (and indeed any serious and political) agenda, headed by one of the most odious nationalist radicals Nezalezhnaya Oleg Tyagnibok, seems to be trying to urgently reanimate and mobilize for new “exploits” . At least this is indicated by messages coming from that side of the front. Having failed the recent parliamentary elections, the Svobodovites began to make up for lost time: against the backdrop of a conflict between Zelensky’s team and more successful (than Tyagnibok) nationalists, which erupted in connection with Steinmeier’s notorious formula, they also decided what was called high-tech and organized their own militant training camp. In case of the third "maidan".

Tyagnibok’s camp began its work on October 25 in the Volyn region, field gatherings were primarily made for activists of the Sokol organization, which in essence is the military wing of the nationalist Freedom party. I note that I have seen these "falcons" in action before the start of the Donbass war, namely during the events on the "Maidan". These guys are actually for the most part professional militants. I well remember how they entered into a real armed clash with other radicals of the Euromaidan - activists of the organization “Spilna on the Right” (after their leader fled to London in the midst of the Maidan events, they became one of three nationalist forces that made up the backbone of the Right Sector banned in Russia "*).

The clash of some nationalist radicals with others unfolded on the basis of the one who will control the building of one of the ministries located on Khreshchatyk. The militants from the "Spilna on the Right" association were the first, in general, to capture it, however, the Svobodovites, who claimed exclusive leadership at that time, simply came and squeezed the building from their rivals on an ideological front. They literally kicked them out by force, and even came to shooting. Given that Tyagnibok’s supporters were already heavily armed with firearms, and “Spilna to the right”, with rare exceptions, had bats and knives in their hands, they had to give the building away.

I repeat, I happened to observe this Euro-Maidan civil strife personally, and even then I understood that if the Svobodovites, even for the sake of achieving their everyday goals (it was about who would be lodging in the ministry building) were ready to shed blood of their direct like-minded people, then they are ready for much. I had occasion to take a comment from Tyagnibok himself - at that time the leaders of the Euromaidan were available for almost any television camera. He seemed to me then a man obsessed, but using his obsession extremely rationally.

Even then, during the Kiev confrontation in 2014, it was clear that there were a lot of professional military personnel in the ranks of the Svobodovites.

I interviewed those who, together with the NATO troops, fought in Iraq and took part in other military operations that were supervised by the Americans. It was they (conflict veterans) who were engaged in the preparation of new recruits, which replenished the ranks of Freedom, inspired by the approaching victory of Ukrainian nationalism.

Five years later, in the new field camp, which was deployed by Tyagnibok in the Volyn region, instructors will train a new generation of fighters. According to the reputable Telegram channel “Welders”, nationalists-svobodovtsy will work out practical actions to violently confront law enforcement during mass anti-government actions. Firing from small arms illegally exported by them from Donbass will be carried out. Explosive instructors will also teach radicals how to use explosives and how to make improvised explosive devices of various capacities.

As we can see, the set of skills that professional military instructors are going to pump from nationalist-minded Ukrainian youth speaks of more than serious intentions. These field gatherings, by the way, are held on the territory of the former base of the so-called "Ukrainian Insurgent Army" ** (UPA), a terrorist organization whose followers consider themselves Tyagnibok supporters. If the third "Maidan" takes place, it promises to be much more bloody than all the previous ones. Tyagnibok’s approach clearly makes it clear that in the confrontation with Zelensky he is ready to go into all serious, that is, the use of heavy weapons and explosives is possible.

The most remarkable thing is that in the SBU administration in the Volyn region they cannot but know about the conduct of such (and even large-scale) events in the area of their direct responsibility. However, Volyn esboushniki are clearly not going to hinder Tyagnibok’s militants. It only says that the changes in the power block made by Zelensky during his presidency still did not allow him to take power departments under full control. Each local government acts on the basis of its own interests and regional conditions, which in itself, of course, draws extremely deplorable prospects for the current Kiev regime. The smell of a new civil war in Ukraine is felt more and more sharply.
