He began his career on television in 1964. After 56 seasons, including 51 on the public service, eight presidents of the Republic and 22 channel bosses, Michel Drucker, 77, still has the same desire to create. The animator Vivement Sunday and Vivement next Sunday launches a new show, only on stage, and publishes an album of caricatures with the designer Chaunu, entitled The Red Sofa (Michel Lafont). The opportunity for the presenter to remember some highlights of his career including the relationship with his great friend Johnny Hallyday, who died in December 2017. He delivered four memorable memories on Friday on the set of Culture Media .
One last SMS
"Johnny, it's a long story," says Michel Drucker. The host tells a moving word that sent him the rocker SMS, a few days before dying. "He said to me, 'I was young so long that I did not see myself growing old,'" he recalls.
"You will make me necro"
And the animator slipped another memory: "He told me by one day disconnecting in a box: 'You will make me necro' I did it, it was the next day and it was not easy to do ", he says with gravity.
Helicopter vertigo
Other anecdotes go back. Like this time Michel Drucker brought the rocker to the Stade de France, in 1990, in ... helicopter. A "mythical" arrival for which Michel Drucker "worked for weeks and weeks", in order to obtain the necessary authorizations, with Johnny who "called him the night". "We take off, he arrives at three minutes from the Stade de France and he says to me: 'I'm dizzy'," smiles the host, imitating the star's cult phrasing.
A "life of con"
According to the host, Diego's interpreter often asked him the same question: "He always said to me, 'Why do not we have the same head?' I said, 'But Johnny, I do not drink, I do not smoke, I go to bed early, I do not go out at night, I watch my voice, my health ... I swim, I pedal, I have the same woman for 45 years! " And the rocker to answer: "What a life of con!" Michel Drucker has a message: "Johnny, if you listen to me, my con life goes on!"
