In a bizarre incident, the owner of a restaurant in Pakistan cut off the ear of one of his employees after requesting compensatory leave for the days of Eid holidays he spent in the restaurant.
The 24-year-old worker had asked for compensatory time off for Eid, but his request for leave and his urgency to travel to his village angered the restaurant owner.
The restaurant owner lost his temper and rushed to the young man and beat him with a cleaver on the tip of his head, which led to his ear cut off.
Police arrested the owner of the restaurant in preparation for his trial, while the worker was taken to hospital.
